What's New?

We had a great garage sale last month. Donations to the sale included furniture, clothing, sports equipment, framed art, and all sorts of household items. The MS Support Group earned over $500, which will go to the cost of our monthly newsletters.

The garage sale was made possible by hard-working volunteers. On Friday, May 16, the sale items were set up by: Jane Gustafson, Joanne & Bob Tallarovic, Laura Williams, and Danna Reiner. On Saturday, May 17, Sherry Oberhardt served as cashier while Janice Haines, Vi Pombo, and Danna Reiner encouraged buyers. Cal Magness helped with setup and cleanup on both days. Thanks especially to Danna & Scott Reiner for letting us use their shaded double driveway for the garage sale.

About Us...

We are a group of women and men living with multiple sclerosis who support each other through monthly meetings, social gatherings, and friendly communications.

• Membership in the MS Support Group of Flagstaff is free to MSers.  Participation by families and friends of MSers is encouraged.
  


• Monthly meetings run from September through May.
  


• Meetings focus on topics of mutual interest and often feature guest speakers.  For example, we talk with neurologists, physical therapists, independent living counselors, naturopaths, chiropractors, dieticians, drug representatives.
  


• Annual events include an autumn potluck, a Christmas dinner, and a spring garage sale.
  


• MSers can participate in the Aqua Exercise Therapy for MS program, offered annually Sept.-Nov., Feb.-Apr., and June-July.

We are friendly, smart, and upbeat!
